AutoStreamer revolutionises liquid fertiliser application

Now in stock at Agratech, the Auto Streamer is Billericay Farm Services’ new variable rate nozzle system for liquid fertiliser applications.

 Using a clever quad-valve system encased in rubber, the Auto Streamer allows a ten-fold increase in flow rates to be achieved from using only a three-fold increase in pressure.

 As a result, application rates can be varied from 60 to 600 litres/ha at 12kph using a suitable GPS rate controller without the need to ever change nozzle sizes.

 The Auto Streamer costs £28.50 per nozzle assembly and is compatible with Yara’s N-Sensor.

Update on Agratech Orders!

Only a handful of Knapsack sprayer orders still outstanding from Christmas backlog.

Thank you all for your patience during the past couple of weeks.

After the snow, we have been flooded at the unit today, so pumping out! (Trying to stay calm), luckily we had some Submersible Pumps in stock!!!!

And then the Sprayer Test Troughs have made useful baths for catching the water overnight.

Normal service will be resumed soon!

Bad weather and important News about orders – Tues 5th January

Due to heavy snowfall, no couriers are able to reach our unit today. Therefore, no large items (knapsack sprayers etc) will be despatched.

Small items will continue to be posted Royal Mail.

Roundup Biactive & Roundup Pro Biactive Weedkiller

1 Litre bottles of Roundup Pro Biactive Glyphosate weedkiller.

  • The active ingredient is Glyphosate, strength 360 grams / litre. This is a professional quality product, used by landscaping and weedkilling contractors, and is 3-times-stronger than most of the Glyphosate weedkillers from garden centres and DIY stores, which are at a concentration of 120g/litre.
  • For control of perennial and annual weeds and thistles.
  • The product needs to be diluted with water, and a 1 litre bottle will cover between 2 – 3,000sq metres depending on the dilution rate required
  • Full instructions for mixing and use are on the label and must be read fully

    Advance Notice – Holiday shutdown!!!

    Hurrah!!!  We are going on holiday from 21 to 31 August.

    You may continue to order online during this time, but NO ORDERS will be despatched, and no phone calls or emails will be  responded to.

    We have had a very busy and quite stressful year, what with rebuilding the website twiceholiday, due to hositng company failure; and  dealing with a large upturn in business, which is great! But now we need a rest……………

    We trust that you will order in advance of these dates if you already know your requirements, or that you will be patient upon our return!

    Economic Downturn affects Sprayer Availability!

    CP3-ClassicSome Knapsack Sprayer manufacturers will be regretting their decision to decrease production, as suppliers stuggle to find stock to meet customer demand!

    Those decisions, made earlier this year in response to the economic downturn, coupled with INCREASED demand for both sprayers and parts, means that many models and their associated parts are in very short supply.

    We have had some parts out of stock for over a month now, and with long continental holiday shutdowns, factories are unable to provide any firm dates for replensishment.

    We will of course advise any customers who order parts that are out of stock and will suggest alternatives where appropriate.  You are welcome of course to contact us to check availabiltyby emailing us [email protected] and we will do our best to help you!

    We’re at North Sheep!

    sheepAgratech are exhibiting their new range of Animal Feeding and care products at North Sheep today. The show is being held in the glorious Ribble valley, and yesterday with the sun beating down on us, there really was no better place to be! Let’s hope it’s just a sunny today!

    The stand is looking good – with a quad decked out with spot sprayer units and a trailer sprayer. We have some fab lightweight corral panels, and Molasses feeders, troughs, and fence hung milk feeders.
